Why Not Adopt One Of Our Animals For A Year?

You will receive a multiple pass, adoption certificate, annual newsletter and other mailings plus a chance to meet and get to know your new farmyard friend all for only £25 per animal!

A visit to Farming World can now be even more special and worthwhile. By adopting an animal, you can get to know more about that animal, and receive regular details of your special friend.

You will be able to visit your animal at any time during normal Farming World opening hours and may even have the chance of helping to care for him/her under expert guidance from our staff.

Animals that are available for adoption are pigs, cattle, horses, ponies, goats and llamas. Details of those which are available for adoption at the present time can be obtained from our staff at the entrance kiosk, so why not come along and find the animal you wish to adopt.

A male goat is called a Billie, an angora male is called a Buck, a female goat is called a Nannie, and a baby goat is called a Kid

Goats are browsers not just grazers. They eat shoots of trees, bushes, brambles and even thistles

Goat's milk is used to make cheese, yoghurt and fine chocolate

Goats have fine coats and dislike the rain and mud
