Farming World has a variety of events throughout the year as detailed below. There are also lots of daily events such as bird of prey flying displays, heavy horses and children's games - lots of prizes to be won. Please contact us for more information.

Farming Festival - Saturday Horse showing with over 25 heavy horses, Sunday horse ploughing match, Monday heavy horse obstacle games. Many other attractions over the weekend including threshing with steam engines, bygone farming, heavy horse musical ride, birds of prey flying displays and rural crafts.

Peacocks is the term that is property applied only to the male peafowl, female peafowl are called peahens
Peacocks shed their tail feathers in the summer and it re-grows again in the Spring
Although peafowl are large, powerful birds, they are somewhat weak fliers and spend much of their time on the ground looking for food or perching
